Is it true the Switch2's d-pad is just as bad as the Switch 1's?How is it that the company that invented the d-pad can't make a good one anymore?
>>736342104The switch pro's dpad is actually god tier for certain games
>>736342104We are in the enshittification timeline.
>>736342104It's pretty much the N64 dpad. Shit for fighters and retro and feels rough as hell for extended periods.
>>736342104Yes. It's mid. I much prefer the ones 8bitdo make and that ones not amazing either.
>>736343602>feels rough as hell for extended periodsWhat's a controller with a good, comfy D-pad?
The actual feel of the dpad is so nice that I'm not bothered by the diagonal input issue.
>>736342104>is it just as badNo, it's a lot better.>is it good? No, it's not good.my gulikit espro is much better.
>>736344224NTA:I don't like the controller overall, but the modern Xbox controller has an, in my opinion at least, amazing D-pad. I really wish I this controller could work better for me.Also the Razer Wired Wolverine Chroma V2.
>>736344393Same, if you put a SeX d-pad and TMR sticks on a 360 controller that would be me set for life.Steam Deck with the extremerate clicky kit is my current first choice though so I'm getting the new Gabe controller supposing it's not vaporware.
>>736345071>I'm getting the new Gabe controller supposing it's not vaporware.Same.
>>736342104I'm nintendo's goodest goy, but they royally fucked the controls on the switch 2 so much it's making me not want to buy their next gen one til I can confirm good controls>joycons have rounded shoulder buttons that get misclicked by me naturally holding them, so can't be used in any game that needs precise L/R>pro controller dpad very easily gives miss-inputs, so can't be used for anything needed precision like mario maker
