They do too much. It's like those GTA 4 mods that made everything look glossy and wet even if it wasn't raining. Modders don't have any artistic talent, which isn't surprising.

the fallout setting is terrible for mods because of it's very specific art direction, everything seems out of place. Meanwhile Starfield is the perfect milk toast setting in which you could put anything, but modding never took off. ~~Starfield is also the better game than F4~~
