Those are the only ones I remember but that's honestly all you need for the rest of the game unless you're trying to be sweaty by getting the ultimate weapons early, then get like 100 Elnoyles and extra worms

You don't need to refine anything. Just keep Squall at low HP so you can spam Renzokuken.

Early game you play with dr kadowaki to gain top tier cards early since card club opened after you're finish sneed exam afaik.

You don’t technically have to fuck with the cards other than a few missable ones, one of which is Seifer from Cid I believe, but the more you refine the better your team will get. When you run into thrustaeveis their cards refine into Tornado’s IIRC and those are OP as fuck for disc 1/2

You are supposed to refine your repeat cards, and duel others for more cards.

Also I recall it was GF that give you the ability to turn enemies into cards.

By disc two the game is so broken becuse if the whole card refine mechanic.

It actually is more fun, same with Zell's limit. Turning the game into a QTE fest is actually more fun. Regular combat is boring, besides attack, you either use GFs and wait for the animation or cast spells(which reduces your junctioned stats)
