It's probably not worth it for them at this point updating it. it's 7th gen at its core. with Unreal it's easier to hire newgrads & outsource stuff while working simultaenously with the outsource team because everyknows unreal. you also don't have to hire expensive head engineers since some schmuck is already doing it for oyu at Unreal HQ.
When I played this I was shocked at how utterly horrible it ran and looked.Ended up playing half the game with shadows disabled because it would completely freeze in certain areas.UE5 can run fine if you don't have retarded developers. ROUTINE looks and runs amazingly.
