Name one (1) game where you decisions actually matter and the outcomes aren't just some obligatory relatively minor things.Try naming just one. I'll give you a hint - you can't.
>>736352935>game gives two dialogue options>pick B option>both lead to the same response>the response is written as if you picked A

the vast majority of dialogue options in games are irrelevant to the actual gameplay, and this includes RPGs as well. games try to hide it with smoke and mirrors. its dumb how people are so obsessed with dialogue options as a form of "roleplaying". mostly its just a bunch of fakery
>>736353658Telling an RPGslopper that their genre does not have any actual decision making is like telling a child santa claus isn't real.
>>736353794santa claus isn't real
>>736352935>game gives two dialogue options>they're not options, they're things your character is saying in succession
>side with one faction>side with other>[Persuasion] middle ground good ending
>>736352935Flavor text pretty much, designed for people who want to immerse themselves into a certain personality type without making choices lead towards a different quest outcome every time. This occasionally does lead to certain npcs remembering your responses and having a unique response to it either during a different quest or as a random event
