Anyway, any anons put on and self imposed limiters on fast travel?

I did: only fast travel between cities and have to be riding a horse.

Considered doing no fast travel but then I remembered some Fighters Guild quests that send you back and forth between Chorrol and Leyawiin with the distance being as far as Chorral and fucking Solitude in Skyrim and I was like, nah.

Eh, most of the outdoor areas other than the Imperial City and the lake surrounding it didn't look that unique anyways
Say what you want about Skyrim's gameplay, you can absolutely hike around fantasy land and enjoy the vistas

Yea except Daggerfall's fast travel had a cost/risk to it. Oblivion's is free and painless.

They knew the map in the game was boring as fuck as opposed to morrowind where there was a lot of varied terrain and things to find.
