This game is great despite its shoestring budget and Shadowverse not being that deep of a card game to begin with. Why aren't there more adventure/RPG games based on a TCG? MtG, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon used to have games like that but don't anymore. Surely there is still a market for it.

You don't think it would be cool to start out with a pile of shit, random MtG cards and go on an adventure while slowly accruing better cards to improve your deck? At this point there are thousands of mediocre MtG cards that you would never see played in a normal setting, but could serve as a cool incremental upgrade to some jank shit deck you've cobbled together.

Yes, there are many online multipalyer TCGs and roguelike Slay the Spire clones on Steam.
