I love that the dude who made the ghost sisters came up with some kind of elaborate backstory for all this that's just barely hinted at in game and this stuff was never picked up by lore autists because of how vague it was and you'd only know based off Japanese interviews.

The medallions used to be equippable to arrows and you got the Fire Medallion in the Fire Temple so->You were supposed to get Ice Arrows from Water Temple not Gerudo Desert.Kinda, not really. Originally there was never a Water Temple. It was instead an Ice Temple and that was where you would get the Ice Medallion.
