I just replayed it last month and I agree. I had always remembered it as the one with good combat out of the trilogy, but it's just bloated with combos that end with the same spin attacks and the boss designs are legendarily horseshit. The really baffling thing is that I'd always assumed the design was a knee-jerk pivot to trendchase after God of War, but it actually came out first.
