Honestly at some point I wonder if these people are actually trying to run a store where they sell things or they just want to publicly display their collection to gloat. I remember going to a store where a boxed Earthbound was $2500. Just make it part of the decor bro.

Over here in my local Gamelife (Pizzaland rebrand of GameStop) they have a lot of PSX-PS2 titles at around 15-20 euros, 30 for the most popular PSX ones, however those are the titles on the "Used" section, they also have a display case for "Mint Condition" ones, and the only titles they have on there are a couple .Hack ones (in Spanish), Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land, Crash Bandicoot Warped and picrel, each one priced at 100 euros.
