How come natehate couldn't leak Bananza, Airiders, Mario Tennis, Fire Emblem, any Switch 2 Edition, Duskbloods, MKW etc but suddenly 6 months later knows the entire lineup of unannounced games for this year and next
>>
June.

Nintendo is being retarded again and waiting too long to announce the games they're going to release soon. It's basically a repeat of the Switch 2's reveal fiasco.
>entire lineup
I highly doubt they'll only have Star Fox + OoT remake for this year.
>>
>>736374553
The year is nearly half over and don't forget Splatoon and Fire Emblem are already announced. The Duskbloods was supposed to be this year, but the pushing back of Elden Ring has likely effected it as well. Regular shovelware that no one would even bother leaking aside, like Mario Party, Paper Mario or Warioware, that sounds about right for this year. It is fairly light for the first full year of this system, but that is on the first half which can't really be changed at this point. Maybe another third party exclusive?

New source, as evidenced by the youtube comment.
>>

I think Nintendo is slowly moving away from Directs in general. They can just announce shit whenever they want to, when they want to. People need to let go of the direct hype cycle treating it like their annual dopamine.
>>
>>736375052
Elden Ring seems just about finished, judging by the last build. It could be released pretty soon or even shadowdropped. If there's really no general direct planned until June, I think it's fair to expect at least a partner showcase this month.
>>
>>736374117
Next week, though Nintendo doesn't want to do directs anymore. Trailers with voice over released to the Nintendo Today app at random times are what they want to do so that they don't feel pressured to show things before they feel they are ready.
>>
>>736375456
>Now Nintendo will force everyone to use their App for News instead of Directs.

Well, fuck.
>>
>>736374117
no pokemon snap 3, no buy
>>
>>736375639
Or just social media in general. They just shadowdropped a whole demo for Tomodachi life the other day and it didnt even need a trailer or post announcing it. Nintendo doesn't need to follow E3 type news protocols for their games anymore.

The entire industry is burning all around them, Nintendo doesn't have shit to worry about in terms of competition. They've become so successful they can just operate however they wish to.
>>
>still no word on Planet Robobot
Tick tock, Nate
>>
>>736375967
People did warn us that success would go right to Nintendo's head and they were right.
>>
>>736375456
>Hmm we have a system where the industry collectively talks about us for a few days, and it gets our announcements and trailers out to everyone at once, even if the viewer wouldn't normally be interested enough to view it
>We should get rid of it and just post on xitter
Strategic genius

It is too much work for them and shows their hand too early. They are blaming directs on the failure of various games. They are tired of people expecting trailers for titles to show up every single year and it is also making it hard to develop games how they want, as they must have areas that are considered "trailer worthy", while at the same time not destroying the thrill of discovery. So expect only 1 or 2 trailers going forward for most games

Partially Nintendo's fault but also the industry at large's as well. You guys will still get games but you're just gonna have to deal with "waiting" more often now. I think modern game development cycles and the culture of constant updates has made you all too entitled and feeling like you need to be fed updates on shit every month throughout the year. Not everything is built like Fortnite, which is ironically now actively crumbling.

Yeah, but Nintendo first announced Splatoon Raiders in June 2025.

I don't really consider it entitled to want to know more about it 9 months later.
>>
>>736377197
Summer is coming up, you'll get an update sometime in May or June.
>>
I want to know rhythm heaven, fire emblem, duskblood release dates and any new info about a new monoloth, zelda, or mario game
>>
>>736378816
you'll only know about the first 3 + star raiders and star fox.
>>
>>736377169
Sure
>>
>>736378816
I want another Kid Icarus and Punch-Out, but I know neither's gonna happen this year.
>>
>>736375869
Snap2 was so good, i dont think they can do it better.
>>
>>736379072
You never know, Nintendo's been reviving shit lately. Next Level could port Punch Out Wii
>>
>>736377169
I guess.
>>
>>736374117
The direct will be in June like always. Nintendo changes things up for ONE year by having a Switch 2 reveal direct in April and suddenly people forget about the usual direct schedule? What causes this lunacy?
>>
>>736376556
>They are blaming directs on the failure of various games.
Source? Which games?

Honestly considering this is Nintendo we're talking about, I don't think you're lying.
