Why is gun smithy, electrical, and explosives powerful?

>>736397787I only really use the automatic gun for the more resilient enemies that have a chance of killing me, the weaker ones get sniped or I use the elephant gun, also I go in the dungeon with extra bullets inside my companions inventories.
electrical is only really good for charged rings. gunsmithy and explosives and basically all tech disciplines are underpowered because they have you digging through trash and gobbling up your inventory capacity for the entire game just to do the same things magic does with no drawbacks.
