If they could go back and redo it, the parts they stretched out like the train graveyard should've remained short, and instead they should've integrated Yuffie's prequel story into the game. Considering the events of Intergrade all take place during the first half of the game, filling in all the padding with the content of the DLC would've kept the game the same length. The only problem is Intergrade was PS5 only, so there might have been something about it that made it impossible for the content to be included with the original game, though I couldn't say why.
