I just bought all the Resident Evil games except for 9. I'm going to start with 1 and work my way up. What am I in for?

Same but I'm only playing the remakes. So I've played 1remake, 2remake, 3remake and currently on 4remake. Thinking of skipping 5 and 6 because they are old and not remakes so I could play 7 because it seems to not need a remake.
