Gaming is way too expensive right now, from what all companies and platforms are offering right now Nintendo is the safest bet. Why? Microsoft is third party, mobile gaming sucks, PC gaming is great for the valve stuff and exclusive indie games and retro stuff but to me personally 99% of PC games don't really interest me, I'm not interested in VR and Sony has been way to busy with live service slop this generation that I've completely lost all hope for the PlayStation 6. Even if the PS6 does eventually get amazing exclusives, Sony has a bad habit of releasing games at a slow pace. Nintendo is the safest bet for me right now because I get games with little story and a lot of gameplay, the console is cheap, NSO is cheap for now, Nintendo consistently releases multiple new games every year. I'm not even a Nintendo fan but as someone who has been sick of the 9th gen being so fucking boring and lame, Nintendo are the only ones right now in the industry with a consistent track record so I know with my switch 2 I'll have something to play, good or bad I don't care. Graphics don't really woah me anymore I'm fine with switch 2 graphics and 30fps I don't care. Switch 2 is the safest investment right now, unless steam machine and PS6 launch cheap, I'm sticking with Nintendo and this is coming from a guy who's last Nintendo console was the GameCube, I skipped the Wii, WiiU, switch 1 and the DS/3DS stuff. I'm having fun with switch 2 because I have a shit ton of switch 1 games to play and upcoming future switch 2 games as well.
>>736379069Nintendo games have PS2 graphics I will never play them
>>736379178I don't care, good graphics are the reason games are shit and take 10 years to come out. I'm fucking done with graphics and frame rate, I just wanna turn my brain off and play Mario.
>>736379178Aren't PS2 graphics nostalgic to people now? Anyways would you rather play Nintendo slop or a PlayStation movie game with a minority? I rather play Nintendo because at least all their characters are white.
Not going to buy a console with games that stay at full price a decade later, retro games that appreciate in price and third party games that are fully digital and worse looking/running than on a PlayStation
