>>736380735Pretty cool, think the combat system is pretty original but i'm too dumb to fully use it. That said, i also think the progression is whack and the pacing in some levels is bizarre. The boonies sector mission with the outlaws drags on for so long it made take a loooong break from the game. But overall, i think it's great. Shame about the switch performance, really think the game would benefit from being able to run at a constant 60 fps. The combat system is quite frankly trash, I don't know what they were thinking making a puppet action game where you don't control the puppet you just awkwardly position them meanwhile the player just sticks to his garbage combo all game long. The chain itself is ironically a much better thought out mechanic and actually pretty good, I think the game would be better if it was honest about the terrible combat and just dumped the puppet and focused on using the chains in battle. The environments are terrible, the enemy design is terrible, everything is a slog because of the pointless RPG mechanics. The one part of the game I find interesting is the segments where you actually act like a police officer but they're criminally underutilized for wandering around stupid geometry combat space for the umpteenth time. It's not the worst Platinum game but it's not good.

I hate that I need to see this game to be reminded that I would be down for a Switch 2 or sequel. I really loved playing through it when it came out.
