I have never played the picrelated and lately got myself into the mood to finally do it. I checked comparison videos on YouTube, and the SNES release seems to look better, with exception to most of the backgrounds and lack of the widescreen support. I can't really generalize why, but the remaster somehow looks off.

What do you think? Which version do anons prefer?

Also, heard that there are translation issues with the SNES version. Is this ROMhack the best way to play it?

as long as you're not playing the version that has those disgusting iOS sprites it's fine

Emulate the Pixel Remaster

I do like all 6 pixel games, but the VI is the one that fails the most to get the art down. On top of that it still has this stupid stutter bug (it's not a bug, the game runs at 60 Hz but the maps scroll at 80 pixels per second, so it goes 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2 and so on pixel and looks like it's stuttering). There might be a fan patch.

The German texts are good, but that probably doesn't matter to you.
