Say what you will about the Sonic franchise, but it did start on a pretty high note. These 1991 games are really good.
>>736386894I'd go as far as to say the 8-Bit titles are underrated, excellent platformers.P.S. the negativity around Sonic because of the flaws in some 3D titles if fair, considering Adventure and Adventure 2 bad seems harsh, though still understandable, now the hate on the classics about how Sonic was always bad or overrated is just peak contrarianism and/or fanboyism.
