That blows. The game was probably a bitch to program but is pretty janky often. In my playthrough I glitched myself to the inside of the mountain twice somehow but I managed to free myself by trying to climb a bunch of times inside and spazzing the fuck out of there eventually, and the second time by just quitting to menu and restarting.
