This game is so bad, I'm amazed at the insane number of positive reviews, in fact, I'm amazed that a game like this has so many reviews in the first place, when there are hundreds of shooters that are infinitely better in every respect with less than 10% of the public. Seeing the acceptance of this game here makes me wonder if the average Steam consumer has a brain in the first place. I mean, Natsuki Chronicles has 175 reviews, and only 83% of them are positive, while this game has 2314 reviews at the moment, 93% of them positive. I used Natsuki Chronicles as an example because that game also has a lot of grind involved in the story mode, but unlike Sky Force Reloaded, that game's grind is teaching you how to play a shooter with some depth.I only played for about an hour and a half and gave up. If you look at the negative reviews, most people are complaining about the grind, but this is only a superficial problem. The real problem is that the gameplay is really bad, the first ship seems to have 2 seconds of input lag, but that's just how it works. You'll unlock ships that are a little less horrible to control later on, so the gameplay being bad is part of the design. The only positive I can see is that the 3D graphics are decent, which is rare in this genre. That's it. For the rest, even Xevious, released in 1982 and one of the first shooters of this style ever made, is light years ahead of this disaster in terms of game design.
Nah the game is good and you're a Jeet with a shitty phone

The game has more reviews and more purchases cause its based on the old mobile game of the same name. Its why it has huge grinding with zero depth. You have to take into account that this was a mobile game first before they ported it and made it into a single player experience.
