I don’t know why Riot is going so hard into toxicity management. Maybe they associate it with player base decline but that certainly isn’t the case. Culture simply passed them by as now with battle royale. The company peaked at the 10 year anniversary. The real fault is failing to expand Runeterra into other genres. They put one small foot in with Forge but indie games in niche genre’s were never going to pan out. They needed to make actual games.
