I want a game to sink 100 hours into. Hopefully with some difficulty and an endgame.

Which does /v/ recommend i buy, dragons dogma 2 or crimson desert?

On pc so I can mod if they make it substantially better.
>>
Buy vampire survivors instead
>>
>>736401697
I already played through the base game and contra dlc though
>>
any 6/10 rpg on the ps2 is usually a safe bet.
>Which does /v/ recommend i buy, dragons dogma 2 or crimson desert?
Oh it's one of those threads again. Fuck off.
>>
I dunno, my go-to time sinks are Factorio and Monster Hunter. Dragons Dogma 2 didn't resonate with me like the first. I do want to give it another try but I dunno. I know literally nothing about Crimson Desert.
>>
gaming in public is just obscene
>>
>>736401790
I'm being genuine this isn't a bait or Indian thread. Not really interested in emulating a ps2 game right now but ive been thinking of a kotor playthrough
>>
>>736401842
Put 500 hours into wilds already and way more into world's/rise/Gu. Just waiting on the expansion to jump back in.
>>
>>736401879
Okay, I'll assume you're being genuine. I'll be genuine as well. I don't know
>>
>>736401973
I will continue to ponder.
>>
>>736402026
wasn't DD2 universally panned by everyone, not just critics? I imagine this decision shouldn't be too hard.
>>
>>736402112
I've been seeing /v/ talk about DD2 a lot recently so I wanted to see what the opinion here was. Crimson seems fun but I heard it was too easy which turns me off a bit.

I really like the joycons (and wiimote) because they're detachable, you can play games in any pose you like

>>736401656
dragon's dogma 2 has no difficulty nor endgame, but there are a gorillion mods that claim to fix the game
no idea about crimson desert but it rubs me the wrong way

get nioh or something

Wrath of the Righteous, the first playthrough (assuming you're trying to see as much as you can) is like 80 hours

>>736401750
Not the Castlevania DLC? That's 100 hours right there
>>
Factorio
>>
>>736402295
I'll look into some of the DD2 mods to see if they change a lot

>>736402537

Id imagine the music in that one goes so hard

Binding of Isaac, Mewgenics, any Total War game (Try to conquest all the regions for an extra challenge), Age of Empires 3 (Try to level up all the civilizations to 50)
>>
>>736402787
The amount of content is genuinely ridiculous too. 96 new characters and 126 new weapons.

I saw a thread about DD2 with difficulty mods earlier. you can probably find it on archives. CD is really good but it's more like a 500 hour game and they're still patching it and maybe they'll add character customizer.
Or do what >>736401790 said and play something like FFXII on PC. that can easily last 100 hours
>>
>>736401656
people are going to think you're jerking off.
>>
>>736401879
Play Morrowind with OpenMW. Crimson Desert is a good game if you're willing to meet it halfway and learn the controls very slowly.
>>
>>736402362
i have the game but im struggling to get in it any tips to getting started the tutorial doesnt help much

>>736402295

They don't think it be like it is, but it do. This is the main reason split controllers should be standard.

Crimson Desert, easy - haven't played DD2 tho, might be good. I've sank over 5k hours in Fallout 4, can't recommend a modded FO4 enough ... go play FO4 & mod it (1.10.163)

gta san andreas

I want to try Ultima VII but the combat is confusing, how I am supposed to navigate through it effectively? Just let my party go auto and hope I don't get raped by bandits?

it gives off generic korean mmo vibes

its just indians and paid marketers, aswell as people making fun of the shill campaign we had with "having a blast" which seems to have been picked up again?
game still sucks but if you gladly eat slop then go for it, you seem to be the target audience for modern capcom if youve played wilds
>>
>>736413448
though it still might be better than crimson desert which just seems extremely generic and boring as a game to me, if those two are the only ones youll consider

get bioprototype, it's like vampire survivors but better.

DD2 doesn't even compare to CD especially if you want a lot of gameplay.

CD will probably have better mods than DD2 in a couple of weeks too, sadly.
