It's fun, but much like IIDX, it is INCREDIBLY unforgiving to newcomers and absolutely requires you to put in the time and effort to get good at the game. If you're already into IIDX, you'll probably be able to get the hang of the basics pretty quick, especially now that they have a IIDX style note skin.Fair warning: Your hands are going to hurt like a MOTHER FUCKER after about an hour of play. You'll have to spend time breaking in your hands, and learning how to hit the buttons without causing pain.

You get to pick your own difficulty, but even very easy shit will fuck you up. Pretty straightforward. Go to round one start playing. Start off fucking easy. If you like it, go and buy an E-amuse card at the front desk. I strongly suggest you register your card on the Japanese side.

modded PS2 is the only option for bemani PS2 pop'n controllers were once sought after but i feel like they should be cheap now, but with the scalper fags ruining everything they might be 100 dollars idk its really not hard to build your own arcade sized one either if you really want to get autistic, this was a common thing in the bemani community 16 years ago
