Often, it causes the opposite problem, where the 1CC is so hard someone can memorize every moment of the game and spend months practicing at it, but still lose.
I like a few "bad" shmups enough to 1CC but I don't like the "good" ones

Alright bros I gave up on my Gunbird 1cc, I can't stand that the steam port doesn't have a stage practice (I should have known better). Now that I'm moving to MAME should I try again for Gunbird or move on to Gunbird2.
