I picked this up. It's pure kino so far. Like a proto Death Stranding with a pseudo Metal Gear story.
I don't usually care for base building but this does it in a way that I'm totally invested.

I don't think many games let you build bases with 3rd person gameplay like this one. MGS 5 doesn't really count. Trying to think of a close example but blank right now.

It's not a good game.
But it's better than the memes would have you believe.
And its flaws are also not what the memes tell you.

Surprisingly its greatest strength is the suspense when stealthing around the smoke areas.
