Now that Nintendo has practically become Japanese Disney, we need to come up with a term to differentiate true Nintendo fans (left) from Furukawa bootlicking Nu-tendies (right).
Any ideas?

Isn't that how Nintendo fans have literally always been? Take a look at the top-selling game franchises of all time and see how far down the list their franchises that aren't on the right are.

anyone who identifies as a fan of a huge corporation is going to be a tasteless asshat. it's one thing to say you like a series or a development team, but nintendo is like 20 different dev teams under one banner.

I think Nintendo EAD were probably the best game development division that ever existed, or at least the most consistent. I also think Nintendo experienced a HUGE fall-off in soul from about 2012 onwards, and aside from Mario Maker 1 & 2, the main 3D Mario games, and Breath of the Wild, they never really recovered. Metroid Dread was tight but that was MercurySteam. Don't have a Switch 2 so can't comment on Donkey Kong Bananza.
