That's assuming the next xbox is actually going to come with windows so you can buy games on steam and not have to pay to play online (or having to pay to access the desktop mode). I guess PS6 will come with 30 GiB of ram which isn't that big of an upgrade but with current prices shipping with 40 GIB of ram would be too expensive. They might even cut it down to 20 GiB which would obviously be bad but would get the manufacturing cost down.

Hardware wise its literally incredibly similar custom AMD SoC like PS6 is going to have which means price is going to be really close unless MS will say fuck it and will price it like complete retards.

Both sony and microsoft now wants to profit from their consoles right away (or at least get close to break-even) rather than losing a lot of money on each console sold. Sony might be willing to take a small initial loss on each PS6 sold but that's only if they expect ram prices to fall soon (such as selling it at 800$ instead of 900$).
