Does Jak even have a personality? Definitely Ratchet and Clank

Both Ratchet and Clank can work as their own characters and both actually do something, Daxter meanwhile is only a buttmonkey sidekick and it's honestly a miracle he somehow got the better spin off game

Jak & Daxter games were made by jewish people at Naughty Dog who really wanted animation gigs at Disney, so it's more serious, but also cool at times because of it. The lead artist/animator on Crash/Jak was a MENA guy.

Jak has a very minimalist approach to character, but he's not just angry 2000s skater dude. I like the scene where they blow open the nest in 2. He has human nuance.
Ratchet and Clank is definitely a better franchisebut Jak and Daxter is nostalgic
