>Dude just make a 1:1 copy of XCOM UFO defense and your game is going to sell like hotcakes
>*makes 1:1 copy*
>Dude what's the point of playing this when the original exists
This game is by far the most unoriginal take on XCOM. Funniest thing is that the devs just made the same game twice and got away with it. Why the fuck would anyone play this game when it offers nothing new?
>>
>call it a 1:1 copy
>ballistics don't work the same way
>there's no psionics
I haven't even played the fucking game and I know this. Take the hint nobody wants to discuss this shit and move on.

Is xenonauts 1 better?
>>

more like 1:-1 copy desu
why play it when XCOM is just better?
>>
I was excited for this when it was announced a decade ago. Now I just don't give a shit. Too little too late. The devs don't know why people liked their first game.

No. It's worse. X2 is just a remake of X1.
>>
I got the first game for free from Amazon or gog. I was considering getting this out of ocd tendencies of wanting to collect all games in series. I have less need to do so when I didn't pay for the first game.

And make the aesthetics worse.

More like -1:+1 copy
Why cater to original XCOM fans when they're all retarded
