Why did the fireflies want to kill her?She should've been impregnated AT LEAST 1000 times to have a chance to spread her immunity.
Sorry, my mind blanked out any details about the lore after I realized Neil is jewish.
I don't know but this game just goes on and on and overstays its welcome. tlou2 is even worse. I rage played tlou2 to completion and instantly deleted the game directory. These both have cool set pieces but the gameplay is so simplistic that they should be 66% shorter.
>>736437230TLOU 1 is pretty good but TLOU 2 is shit i consider non canon.
>>736437616no return alone is better than all of TLOU1
>>736437721Ok neil you can stop.
>>736437879i don't think you understand how gamedev works, he would have been working on heretic prophet the whole time and not been involved at all with the MP maps which got recycled into the roguelite modedoes /v/ even play video games
Is this thread autosaged?
>Why did the fireflies want to kill her?Because of retarded writing. On its own you can at least hand wave it as the FF being retarded, that the point was there's no magic solution and everyone just has to try their best in their bleak world. Unfortunately Druckmann's vision is that the FF were 100% right and the world could've been saved if Joel was just willing to sacrifice his daughterfu. Maybe there was meant to be a message, that the soldier who shot Sarah at the beginning unknowingly damned the world or something but I think Niel just sucks at writing.
>>736436953ellie isn't special. the fungus in her brain is special. wouldn't necessarily get passed on to her kid.
>>736438741How is the fungus special? it's the normal thing everyone is infected with, and it's always worth a try to pass her immunity on after all it's better than killing her.
>>736439015It makes more sense that the fungus is different
>>736436953I remember being a 14 year-old hormonal teenager when I played this game. I saved money from mowing lawns and bought TLOUR the summer it came out. Seeing Ellie in that striped tank top awoke something in me and I jerked off to so much rule34 of her that summer.
>>736439307Fucking how? how does it make more sense that this random zombie gave ellie magic brain mushrooms (that also infected the zombie)
>>736439630Fungi are weirder than people
>>736439715
>>736436953she's a child

>>736439581Thoughts on clem?
>>736436953and who would want to be the man to do it, OP? You? Huh? Who would want to live with the shame of impregnating Ellie? Killing her is the safer option
>>736440890I AM willing to make the sacrifice. The world should be thankful.
>>736440564Never played that game. Sorry.
>>736441448If you have the chance i recommend playing it.
>>736436953The fireflies are basically retarded>We expended vast amounts of our scarce resources and even scarcer manpower to ensure Ellie makes her way here>Ellie, the singular immune human being we know of>Truly, everything we do is riding on this one hope for humanity>Quickly, get her onto this slab so we can crack her skull open in a procedure that will assuredly kill herI mean, really? Don't you want to run some tests first, maybe? Perhaps some trials to ascertain how her immunity works, what the x-factor is that makes her immune, maybe a couple lab tests to ensure it's actually transferable to begin with? Maybe find some way to create a sustainable source of whatever it is that makes Ellie immune? Maybe your first step shouldn't be to kill the only subject you have, acquired at great sacrifice, on some ill-informed hail mary attempt to do what exactly? Synthesize a cure from something you don't even understand or know whether it can survive outside of her skull to begin with? The second game really falls the fuck apart once you question their plan even a little bit, and shooting that doctor did far more to achieve his goals than he himself would've done. Abby should've chased down Joel to fall to her knees before him and thank him for killing her retarded father before he blundered the best chance humanity has had in decades.

>>736436953reminder that this scene was written by people who have 0 clue what medical science is or how long it takes>no REAL blood tests, these take time>no REAL scans, these take time>prepped for brain surgery on a FUCKING TABLE, with 0 way to stop the brain from flopping straight out onto the table, with 0 equipment near by required for keeping a brain around for studyalso>two guards come across an unarmed man performing CPR on an unconscious female child (something that was supposed to be delivered to them but is late)and knock him out and i presume do nothing for said drowning victim>they don't even let her wake up from drowning and keep her sedated, never ask for consent despite the fact she would have said yes right away>they decided to try and meme on Joel after he finished his fucking job even if he was late
>>736441698>>736442912Seconding this. The first season is peak. Even if it's not your sort of game it's worth playing.
>>736444251And they didn't pay joel after the job was done.
>>736437230shit taste gameplay wise tlou2 is probably one of the best third person shooters
>>736444609Not him but maybe I need to replay TLoU1 because I found the gameplay better (Grounded) in the first game.TLoU2 had less interest gameplay setpieces, samey environments (90% of the game is overgrown Seattle streets), and stealth is the clear best option for almost every fight in the game. But then again, it could have just been the story and characters in 1 were so much better that it rubbed off on my opinion of the gameplay
Would david really have killed her?
>>736441872The problem is that same as most pop culture science fiction. The writer can't write convincing characters that are more intelligent than they are. No matter what, the Firefly scientists can only be as intelligent as the person writing them, which is less intelligent than many of the people that played the games and pointed out the obvious stupidity of said Firefly scientists.
>>736436953Its just a contrivance to add conflict to the story. They'd never kill someone this valuable when you cant possibly know youll ever find another.
>>736437030After watching american krogan's video on tlou2 i was really disgusted by that game and this guy.
>>736445624I was disgusted when they made Joel so weak a troon could kill him and ellie was gay now.Faggots dont exist in the apocalypse we need to repopulate.
>>736445983>they made Joel so weakNot only that but they made look weaker in the remake of tlou1>ellie was gay nowThe dlc in 1 was the beginning of the end.
I think that Ellie may be the most erotic character ever conceived. In fact, conception may be the wrong term. A being so perfect could not have been created by any human, she must exist outside of time and reality, only manifested in physical form through pure happenstance.Just imagine ducking into some abandoned house to rest together on your cross-country journey. Faint slits of moonbeam trickle through the boarded-up windows and illuminate the interior with a pale blue glow. She ducks into another room to change into her nightwear as you beat the dust from a worn mattress lying in the center of the living room floor, and returns just as you've finished tidying the innerspring as best you can. She's wearing an undersized tank top, which rises well above her navel and hugs the contours of her breast, as well as a pair of loose pajama shorts, sagging just low enough that the top of her faded pink cotton panties are visible. I think, at that moment, you would have to take her. There would be some fight no doubt, she'd insist on her lesbianism, but soon all of that would give way and you'd be coiled up with one another, two sweaty figures in the dark giving way to their most primal urges.
>>736446232>tfw you will never fuck ellie so hard that she becomes straight

I have been a hater from day 1. Its incredibly derivative and offers nothing new, the plot is half baked to start, the ending is retarded.
