I think Zach Cregger is lying about having never seen the other Resident Evil films. The problem is that his film sounds exactly like one of the later Paul W.S. Anderson films. Frantic pace, minimal exposition, character travelling from A to B constantly coming under attack. Never being able to rest. Racing against a ticking clock. That sounds exactly like The Final Chapter, which was inspired by Mad Max Fury Road.Cregger claims that he's never seen the films but also his movie is totally different. Except he has been unable to provide a single example of his film being different. He hides behind "I've never seen them."I'm sure it'll be a really good movie. But when people find out that it's exactly like the previous films but with Cregger's particular style it's gonna raise some eyebrows. His fanbase has been trying to gaslight people into thinking this movie is a slow paced horror film like Barbarian. It's the exact opposite.
Dusk Golem liked it apparently. What was his opinion on WtRC?
What does Zach know he has an attention defecit disorder
>>736437169All of the WKUK are talentless hacks, even the dead one. KITH was vastly superior and their sketches were far more iconic. Also, Miss March is pretty much the worst movie ever made.
>>736437169I don't think that's unreasonable. I've only seen brief clips of the movies and thought they were fucking terrible. Didn't he say he played the games though? That's a much better sign than if he saw some dogshit from 20 years ago that has nothing to do with the game
>>736437169>The problem is that his film sounds exactly like one of the later Paul W.S. Anderson films. Those were objectively the most successful things in the franchise, so what is the problem? >His fanbase has been trying to gaslight people into thinking this movie is a slow paced horror film like Barbarian. It's the exact opposite.Resident Evil has never been "slow paced horror".
