>>736441359Remake is better for the atmosphere of gothic horror meets sci-fi, original is better for the overall gameplay experience despite no quick turns or defense items. You straight up just have more options, routing, and necessity for the lay of the land versus Remake being a lot easier in the moment-to-moment and ramping up costly punishments to compensate while you do smaller puzzles in-between everything. It's generally just a bit more tedious unless you like the smaller bits.
