(original version not the remake) It has an interesting story, appealing characters, some of the all-time best art and music, nice point-and-click gameplay, and a unique gimmick that sets it apart. It has h-scenes but it's not a game that focuses on that either.Muramasa is probably up there too but it's more for hardcore fans of this genre. Everyone besides Okabe is basically the same from beginning to end, in fact that's kind of the point as they remain approximately the same even as he loops through time while he changes completely. I think the contrast is on purpose. Mayuri is LITERALLY one-note, the note is tutturu!, so if that note were to stop playing it'd be disturbing and devastating.
