DLC's been out for a week, how's your progress on the roguelite mode? did you do the bossrush yet?what's the /v/erdict?
Was hoping for a traditional DLC, idk this mode doesn't really interest me. But apparently a regular DLC is coming out too so no loss.

are the bladers and endgame bosses (ursula and loskid and the new final boss) meant to be countered? tried using the shield for a change and I get assraped
>>736446758Countering is very effective against them as it fucks their sync rate as well as give you a free riposte. Shield I found to be rather situational and not that effective in general.
>>736446758All of them work, you just need the roguelike buffs or in normal mode the seals for Shield to use that one I'd say. Lightning evasion thing is the easiest to use against Eirene and the dlc final boss because those movesets are insane, but Counter shuts down Loskid and Ursula.

>>736447326An average player is not avoiding them reaching the high sync rates anyway so you should choose the easiest for you, they're all roughly in the same level of strength. Counter Field is the strongest at high level play technically, but it has the disadvantage of making you stationary and increasing damage taken when you fail which as you can imagine means they can nearly kill you in one hit. Eirene and DLC Man have movesets that overlap attacks and hit multiple times at once while laying ground traps too, so it's way riskier against them unless you know the moveset. Even the sexy egyptian lady got moveset updates and you can no longer infinitely stun her with counter field.

I just beat the base game and enjoyed it but have no interest in this new mode right now. The combat isn't the reason that I liked the game.I do kind of hate how arissa looks as well
any strat to cheese the bossrush?
