>that game you replay every yearWhat's her name, /v/? For me, it's Kingdom Hearts 2
Luigi's Mansion
FFX and RE4
>resets achievements>re-do the achievements again
>>736443605Same, i should try a level 1 run someday
>Kingdom Hearts 1>Decide this will be the year I finally finish Chain of Memories >get a couple levels in and drop the game>boot up Kingdom Hearts 2>feel the smile creep on my face
>replaying games everRoundhouse kick all nostalgiafags. Behead lack of experience havers.
>>736444629replaying games that you like > playing new games that are shitSimple as.
Ur mum then I disappear again for another year
>>736443605I dont replay anything. I play it. I finish it. I move on.
>>736443923Chain of memories suuuuucks. Its not as bad as 3 but its a fucking slog.
>>736444741I really dont understand people who can just play the same thing forever. Or watch the same movies and shows over and over.
>>736444845the GBA version is superior to the remake.
>>736444916If you wait long enough (like ten years) you forget most of the finer details and can re-experience almost the same as if it were the first time. People who replay/rewatch shit every year are just mindraped comfortfags
>>736444845I love the gameplay but it's hit or miss for people, I really love its story tho>>736444917Also this
>>736444916If you absolutely love a game, playing it again months or years later is fun. It's not just finishing a book and immediately starting from page 1. The game part has to be entertaining enough.
>>736444917Except in terms of actually playing the game, since battles blow on the GBA. And graphics and sound and everything else that's obviously going to be worse in a GBA game.
>>736445531The combat system was MADE for the 2D battles on the GBA. 3D ruins it and actively makes it harder because enemies now move on a 3D plane and can easily avoid your attacks.
>>736443845It's a different beast, you really learn to use all of your tools (especially ones that make you invincible or heal you for a bunch, such as the Sonic Raid limit while in Limit form). There's one fight in the game where at level 1 there's only one real way to win the fight thanks to guaranteed damage and in the fight there's no other party members or drive forms (including limit). It's Genie Jafar.
>>736443605re4I also replayed pikmin 2 a lot when I was a kid. To the point where I have the whole game memorised and it isn't fun anymore.
>>736445642Kingdom Hearts is MADE for the PS2. Basic actions like swinging the sword on the PS2 version feel exactly the same as they did in the first game, yet the GBA version is a horrible approximation of it that isn't even as good as swinging a sword in other GBA games.
>>736443845I got filtered by level 1, stopped being fun for me during the first pirates visit (yes I got filtered).I've 100% critical with exp before and that was fun, lvl 1 is too much for a scrub like me.
>>736443605FFV
Off the top of my head>Azure Dreams>Digimon World>Dark Souls>Pokemon Emerald/Crystal>KH 1/2>Bloodborne>WC3, all the campaigns>Paper Mario 64>Banjo Kazooie>Spyro Trilogy>Bug Fables>CTR>Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins>Klonoa, mostly just the first one
>>736446242For me, it's the first game but FFV is also great.Ain't nearly enough jarpigs in the world like it, that's for damn sure.
I've played through KH1 a few times but never done a second playthrough of KH2. I've tried but I always ended up tuning out after the Roxas-segment and then moving on to something else. Also still have yet to play KH3 or any of the others. I love the first game, it's a timeless class and self-contained story, KH2 definitely feels like sequelbait which kind of devalues it for me
>>736443605EarthBound. Despite being pretty easy it never gets boring and feels like a grand journey every time
>>736444916I love my CoM, specially the GBA version
>>736447569>I've tried but I always ended up tuning out after the Roxas-segment and then moving on to something else. Are you kidding me? They hand you pimp-ass Valor form and set you off on the top tier Mulan level. How do you get bored like that?
