Are we finally ready to admit Star Fox Zero was always good?
>>736445336It still sucks
>>736445336It is literally unplayable due to shit controls
>>736445336I never played it or assault
>6 years ago>10k viewsWhy didn’t all those Zero customers watch this amazing video more than once?
>>736445336Mork must go out of his way to have the worst opinions possible.
>>736446052 Cute opinion, did a game urinalist give it to you?
>>736446284Nope, this was back when he used to give honest, autistic stream of consciousness critique of games from the heart, instead of just forcing narratives to make a clickbait video essay for views
>>736446291NTA but I played the game and thought it's real sin was the boring gimmick segments with the little walker droid thing. It also needed way, way more dogfight segments. Controls weren't great either but I got used them after a while.
>>736445336Never. Fuck you kindly
>>736445336Fuuucck, i shoulda got a wiiu
>muh controlsEven if the game did not have them, or muh ebil reviewers understood them instead, the game would have been received even worse. It was a useful distraction from the fact that the game was an hour long hallway simulator followed by a boss fight against a floating monkey head.
>>736446908>the game was an hour long hallway simulator followed by a boss fight against a floating monkey headthat's what star fox is supposed to be
>>736446908>zoomer can't comprehend arcade designStick to Assassin's Creed and Basedderman, faggot
Star Slop or Slop Fox?
Are we finally ready to admit Krystal saved the franchise from falling into obscurity?
>>736446972>>736446990what >>736446908 means is that despite the series going on for over two decades, we're still trapped in 64. This series should be an ongoing story, but instead, it's been soft-rebooted three times. The only changes being gimmicks that don't stick. Star Fox should be Nintendo's answer to Ace Combat, but it's not there yet. Seemingly not even close.
>>736447271Miyamoto-san...
>here's that game you've been waiting for!>don't forget to wave your arms around like an idiot to play :)Miyamoto is a retard, innovation kills games
>>736447385the waggling should have been a joystick like flying a plane
>Here's your controller bro
>>736445336I don't really feel like watching it, which of those terms are used in this one?>gameplay density>mechanical darwinism>self-serve difficulty>resource snowing>false mastery>anti compulsion loops>checkpoint socialism>skill eviction>suck to targetThanks
>>736447271Yes
>>736446383This is part of his narrative that popular games are only popular because stupid jerks support them. I don't automatically love something because it's popular, but he clearly would rather talk about that than why any given game is good.
>>736445336It was the best Starfox game
>>736448150suck to target was coined by a GoW dev tho
The controls are actually the least of Zero's problems. The bigger problems are the gimmick levels that ruin the pacing the game, and the fact that the game has LESS content than SF64. Gyrowing levels slow things to a crawl, and even if you can replay them in the walker form, they were clearly not made for it so beating them with the arwing always feels clunky and bad and just makes you wish you were playing a better level. The game re-uses content to try and pretend it has the variety of 64, but most of it ends up just being levels with small differences or random Star Wolf fights. A lot of the boss fights have extended parts where you're forced to wait around and there's nothing you can do to speed them up via better play. Anyone who says this is a good game is either a complete contrarian who desperately wants to be seen as cool and hardcore for liking games people rightfully dislike (Mork) or are retards who haven't actually played it and just get fed opinions from youtubers. There is zero reason to ever replay this game in favor of just replaying SF64, especially with how much this game still tries to ape from it. The only two memorable and fun levels are the one with the bird boss, and the one where you have to sneak through a fleet's shields. Meanwhile almost every level in SF64 is memorable and replayable.t. 100% it on Wii U because I was trying to cope it wasn't a bad game
