Ocarina of Time was a video game, it was released at the tail end of 1998 for the Nintendo 64 console. It is decidedly so that it is in need of a remake. I wonder if it can be made to feel adequate to the needs of gamers. It would be fool hardy to do no more than port the game considering it is so far out of date. The only people the original resonates with anymore are those who are firmly fixed in their nostalgic yearnings for youth.
It has a lot of empty space. Static bgs on alot of areas, a few softlocks that can be removed. Potentially voice acting and huge boosts to fidelity of graphics. The gameplay itself was never anything special, mainly the story and characters is why it's so fondly remembered. As long as it's mostly untouched the remake will be infinitely better than the original.
