The Kalpas include just about everything that could piss someone off in the older entries but at least there's a good payoff for doing any of it and technically it's all optional. Pretty great game but I would love a return to the I-II style but in big 3D, I know IV was supposed to be that and it's a solid game too but I feel the hypothetical "SMTV but with a world like I-II" would blow it out of the water.
