Books that would ACTUALLY be a good video game. If you can't describe the GAMEPLAY, there's no game in there.

A trading game with emphasis on building social connections in the prison. Your goal is to build a hole. You need to befriend other inmates to get tools you need, make yourself useful to them to get stuff to trade, deal with guards or the warden, and make sure that your escape route is hidden. Something similar to The Great Escape, but more complex while only focused on the one escape route.
