Sad about how genshin impact is going, hope they right the ship. Kotama and Academy Citadel is my favorite metroidvania since sotn. Really really solid gameplay that games always feel like they're missing today.

Combat is boring, and after the (admittedly good plot twist mid-game with N and M, etc) I think I'm good to just drop it. I recall the boat section of the game really sapping my will to complete the game the first time around and I am loathe to do that again. I'm glad I gave it another shot, but it just doesn't hold up.
