We can all agree this is the worst 3D Mario, yeah? Every other level is "that part".

It's not a good game: buggy, obtuse, uncharacteristically full of instant-death trial-and-error bullshit; but it is impressive what Koizumi was basically able to staple together in a year and a half after Nintendo kept rejecting every Super Mario 64 2 project.

But we did get Nintendo Tokyo/EPD 8 out of it since Koizumi figured it'd be easier to hire in Tokyo than convince people to move to Kyoto to work for Nintendo, and they've been on an industry-defining run since Galaxy.
