Was Assassin's Creed Unity really THAT bad?
>>736454790Idk I haven't played it
>>736454878then go play it and report back
>>736454790It was buggy, the love story was a little stupid and the co-op was pretty underwhelming but at least it wasn't Syndicate and all the RPG garbage that came after it.
>>736455168No
>>736454790it had a release that was so bad at the time it gave the game a near cyberpunk-tier reputationhard to live down something like thatwhich is a shame because it's one of the most intricate and well-designed parkour systems in the franchise and that kind of went down with the ship
>>736455402>It was buggyDid they patch all the bugs at least?
>>736454790No, it was worse.
>>736455545I'm honestly not sure, I played it around the same time the first DLC came out, which was given away for free to make up for the buggy launch. I could be wrong but it was really bad on PC and tolerable on console, which was what I played it on, and there's nothing noteworthy I can recall about it.
It was bad at release, but absolute kino if you're not a retard normie chasing release hype and waited a few years before playing it (r/patientgamers ftw)
>>736457502so did they fix the game?
>>736454790Every time I try to replay it I get triggered by the audio quality and quit. The whole game sounds really tinny and low quality. Dont know how to explain it. It's a genuine issue with the game but most people never bring it up because a lot of people just played it on TV speakers without headphones.Gameplay itself is SUPER solid tho
>>736454790I was lucky I didn't get any of the gamebreaking bugs this game had at launch, but I heard some horror stories involving thoseThe game is shit btw
>>736457502Cringe.
>>736454790it was the first AC I played that I couldn't finish so it kind of stands as a symbol of the series downfall for me.
