I don’t get why assault needs to feel like shit to play in PvE.
I tried to play the first game but that kept lagging my PC so uninstalled. Shame, I really wanted to get into 40k.
Ripping apart a horde of 'nids just feels really good.

Gaming really peaked with PC gaming in the 90s/early 2000s. There was a level of genre diversity and creativity that's practically unheard of today. 40Kfags are just desperate for any actually decent 40K games. There are billions of 40K games, but only a few that could even be called "okay". This is on the higher end of the quality spectrum by virtue of looking nice and having at least acceptable gameplay. I bounced off of this game real fuckin hard. Gameplay got boring pretty fast, the executions are well done but get repetitive, the armor painter is really good but its unlock system is blatantly just a playtime-extender, co-op is decent and lets you use your custom barbiestartes but only does anything for you if you haven't burnt out on the gameplay yet, and PvP is pretty fuckin horrendous and very blatantly an afterthought. As a game it's fine - you could even go so far as to say it's a decent or good game - but compared to other 40K games, it stands near the top, and that's why it gets fellated so hard.
