Dropping or raising the texture quality, model quality, shadow quality, and so on does virtually nothing for my performance for any of these games and being in Quality or Performance modes or even doing custom settings seems to be all over the place in terms of consistency.I also had to upgrade to 32GB of RAM because it simply would not do well at all in most situations like having a browser open and a game open at the same time so that's another $100ish down the drain and that was also DDR4 since I couldn't afford to upgrade to DDR5 as it was double the price. I will also need to scrap the mobo and case so I can get a brand new PSU and CPU since currently some games are CPU bottlenecked like WuWa which means another $700ish at some point since the GPU is still mostly solid.Say what you will about consoles but I can at least gain some sort of consistency out of them for one flat price even on brand new games whereas it seems like every brand new release on PC stretches my performance more and more.
