One of the stupidest things they ever did early on was making it so that the player got debuffed majorly against enemies if they didn't reach the AP level they wanted for areas. You still wouldnt clear things super fast but at least it was doable and more like a fun hard mode rather than just deleting whole groups for the goddamn grinding rotation bullshit. Anything to force people to spend money on that absolutely fucking retarded item advancement scheme gooks love so much.
