Why hasn't anyone made a shining-inspired horror game where you're trapped in a massive haunted hotel? I was thinking something like this could work well with the sanity effects from eternal darkness
>>
I'm currently playing the exact game you're describing
>>
you mean like Haunting Grounds? or even Gregory Horror Show?

Haven't played either of those but they look to be pretty tonally different from something like the shining.

It's probably different than the game you are imagining but At Dead of Night is basically this and is somehow one of the scariest and most stressful games I have ever played despite the goofy looking fmv killer.
And horror is my favorite game genre.

You mean amnesia?

Probably because the shining is an incredibly overrated shit movie for pretentious film faggots.
So i guess kojimbo should make ur hypothetical game

It's a book
