SotE is not amazing. I would say it's largely underwhelming. It's not terrible, but it doesn't greatly improve the value or quality of Elden ring in a major way, IMO. The Old Hunters was fucking incredible. Shadow of the Erdtree is just okay.

That was so hard, bros. Now I feel drained. Consort Radahn scratched the same itch of fighting the Nameless King for the first time. Just bashing my head against something impossible until somehow I got so good could beat the shit out of him. Right now I don't feel like playing a game ever again. Like getting a hangover. The people who had never played a Souls game before, how could they even beat this? I wonder if these games will keep getting harder and one day I'll beat Consort Radahn with the same ease I beat the Nameless King now. Seems hard to believe.
