im largely competent at every genre except puzzle gamesim a complete fucking brainlet...the hardest part of resident evil and silent hill games for me were the babby puzzles...

I think around the time server browsers went away in favor of matchmaking.I always play games for recreation but I still beat competitive players people without a sweat, which is a bad feedback loop for the matchmaking systems. You're basically punished for having natural skill, I just want to play casually.

>>736474897When I convinced my brother who usually beats me at everything that we used to play to try Monster Hunter 4U and he died a bunch to Great Jaggi then eventually gave up at Rathian. He later played World with me and did fine though.
Objectively speaking I'm bad at games. Under equal conditions I'll do worse than a random normalfag that picks up a video game for the first time. However I can still beat most games if I spend twice as long playing them.
