I doubt you can pitch anything except a comic book with only a script actually, and even then you'd probably need to know an artist guy to team up with. So you either multiclass into a key director/designer/producer role to carve out a space for your own vision, or go the starving indie artist route and just do everything yourself in RPGMaker.

I would not be surprised if something like this already exists to some degree, but I really want some kind of large scale "open world" RTS game with a heavy focus on proper logistics, that's a bit more slow paced than traditional RTS games.You have to explore to find and transfer the materials that you need to build your growing empire and raise armies. And not like the typical RTS formula where you can just place a building near a gold mine and it magically transfers what you put into it back to your city. But you actually have to set up logistic lines by doing stuff like clearing forests, building roads, bridges etc. If you want to build something, you have to transfer the materials from where they are stored to the thing you want to build. Things like factories, ship yards or whatever needs to have materials in stock in order to build units.You can trade with other empires or disrupting their supply if they are hostile to you. But armies and navies would need supply too, so you can't just send a big army marching towards the enemy or they will starve and die, you have to build camps and supply those camps with the necessary supplies the army needs. Ships have to be packed with enough provisions too. Not sure what era would be best suited to this, maybe multipleI think the hard part is finding the middle ground to avoid it being just another RTS with fancy supply mechanics, or just a city builder like manor lords or Anno

It's got both a tetris grid inventory and weight capacity, all of your stats and abilities come from your items and a big part of things is getting useful stuff from far away back to your safe home base. Stuff like trying to figure out how to get a heavy, large anvil out of a dungeon so you can use it on the surface to craft stuff. A game where you explore a big abandoned facility, maybe some government lab or a science base on Mars or whatever. It's all spooky and dark inside, and everything is broken down. It's a big facility with multiple sections and divisions. There's a power plant, an engineering & maintenance section, an R&D division, a medical office, living quarters, etc People used to live and work there, and by investigating what they left behind, you can piece together what they were doing and maybe how to fix the base. When you get there, the whole base is pitch black and you keep hearing distant noises in the background, and you might get the sense that you're being watched.The twist is there's no horror elements to the game, it's actually an autism simulator in disguise. Your goal is really just to fix shit, and to do that, you need to diagnose what's going on and find hints and manuals on what you need to do. Like, to restore power, you need to read manuals and troubleshooting reports to figure out the process on jumpstarting the generator, and then you need to go to the engineering section to get the right parts. There's no enemies or spooky jumpscares, it's all in your head.
