Why did it fail to win over the original Souls fans?
Elden Ring is for taking big bites of and completing exactly once, basically a movie game. I can replay any other souls game and be having fun doing builds and be like one fourth of the way through after a session. Then it takes like 5 hours of bumblefucking around elden ring while juggling wiki pages and then I just stop playing. Also the DLC is just I Wanna Be the Guy memeshit.
